Settlement Reached in Highway Crossover Accident

Pope McGlamry, a Georgia law firm practicing civil litigation throughout the Southeast, has successfully settled a wrongful death action arising out of an automobile accident in Chilton County, Alabama.  On December 8, 2009, Gregory Rollins was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 31 in Chilton County, Alabama when his vehicle was struck by an oncoming truck.  Mr. Rollins was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Pope McGlamry was retained by the Estate to investigate potential claims arising from this accident.  As a result of its investigation, Pope McGlamry was able to establish liability against the truck driver, and his insurance carrier settled for their policy limits, as did Mr. Rollins own uninsured motorist coverage provider.
