McGlamry Selected as the First Chair of the GTLA’s Business Litigation Section

Mike McGlamry, a shareholder with the civil litigation firm of Pope McGlamry, has accepted an invitation to head the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s newly created Business Litigation Section.  McGlamry will be assisted in founding the Section by his law partner, and chair-in-waiting, David C. Rayfield.  “Business litigation is a thriving area of the law and understanding its intricacies is crucial to assisting our clients,” McGlamry said.  “I am looking forward to helping GTLA establish a Business Litigation Section that will help its lawyers better represent their clients in this arena.”

The new Section will focus on legal problems arising from commercial and business relationships, including the litigation of controversies arising from those relationships in state and federal courts.  The Business Litigation Section will debut at the Annual Convention of the GTLA on May 6, 2011.
