Pope McGlamry Resolves Claims Arising from a Fatal Car Accident on I-985 for more than $3.9 million

Pope McGlamry, a prominent Georgia law firm specializing in civil litigation, has successfully resolved claims relating to a fatal automobile accident in Gwinnett County, Georgia for more than $3.9 million.

On April 1, 2007, Richard Reasoner and his wife Dianne were traveling north on I-985 in Gwinnett County, Georgia when a vehicle traveling southbound crossed the median and struck the Reasoner’s vehicle head-on.  Mr. Reasoner suffered permanent injuries to his lower extremities, and Mrs. Reasoner suffered injuries which led to her death.

Pope McGlamry was retained to investigate potential claims arising from this accident, and separate lawsuits relating to Mrs. Reasoner’s wrongful death and Mr. Reasoner’s personal injuries were filed in the State Court of Dekalb County, Georgia.  PMKM&N obtained by verdict and settlement more than $3.9 million for the Reasoners.
