Jay Hirsch was born in Columbus, Georgia on June 16, 1961. He is a graduate of Tulane University (Bachelor of Arts, 1983) and the University of Georgia School of Law (J.D., 1986). Mr. Hirsch is licensed to practice law in Georgia (1986) and Florida (1988).

Mr. Hirsch is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, The Florida Bar, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA). Mr Hirsch is a Champion member of the GTLA and has served as Board of Trustees of the Civil Justice Political Action Committee (2003-2006).

Currently, he is focused on practicing law in the areas of tort liability, business litigation, products liability, premise liability, and wrongful death.

Mr. Hirsch lives in Atlanta with his wife Ellen V. Hirsch of Hudson, Ohio and their three sons. He is also a member of The Temple, the Carl Sanders YMCA and Ansley Golf Club.
