Gino Brogdon

M. Gino Brogdon, a native of Ohio, is the youngest of eleven children. He received his B.A. in economics in 1983 from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio and obtained his J.D. in 1986 from the Indiana University School of Law. Upon completing law school, Brogdon moved to Atlanta to begin his legal career. After establishing a successful solo practice, he served on the State Court of Fulton County from March 1996 to July 2002, and on the Superior Court of Fulton County from July 2002 to December 2005. Gino returned to private practice in 2005, focused on personal injury claims and mediation.

Gino is a frequent speaker at legal education seminars and has also appeared on CNN, MSNBC and GPTV. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct professor at the Emory University School of Law and John Marshall School of Law. Gino is a member of several associations, including the State Bar of Georgia (1987–present); Indiana State Bar Association (1986-present); Atlanta Bar Association (1987-present); Gate City Bar Association (1994-present); Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (1992-1996, 2007-present); and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. Beyond the courtroom and his speaking and teaching engagements, Gino’s career is distinguished by his participation in several community boards, including the Georgia Crime Victims Advocacy Council, the Salvation Army Advisory Board, and the Georgia Council on Child Abuse, Inc. Judge Brogdon has also written two novels, Demons in the Crawlspace and Inside She Waited.
