Zimmer Knee Replacement Recall

Knee Replacement surgery can improve the overall health and lifestyle of injured people. But what if the knee replacement is faulty or defective? This can cause more harm and complications for patients.
If you or a loved one has had complications after receiving a Zimmer artificial knee, you may qualify to participate in a Zimmer knee lawsuit.
Zimmer, a company that focuses joint replacement technology, has had great success with artificial knees, and have been a top choice for orthopedic surgeons.  However, in 2010, a study presented to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons suggested that the Zimmer NexGen knee replacement systems have a higher than expected failure rate which leads to revision surgery.
Problems associated with this knee replacement system include:
  • Pain
  • Diminished joint movement
  • Difficulty walking
  • Loosening of the implant
